Description
When he proposed to her, she said she wanted to be a kindergarten teacher. He replied, marry me and I'll give you your own kindergarten. They had 10 children, 5 boys and 5 girls. Now there are 6 siblings, 3 women and 3 men. Here we see the sisters gathered around her. They are reviewing life and decisions and memories. Her husband of 65 years never wanted to leave her but it couldn't be helped. Scattered about are books and remembrances of the children; toy soldiers, a smoke jumper, an electrician, two nurses, an oral surgeon, a son living in California, a photo album, butterflies and hearts. The Norwegian grandfather clock ticks at 12:34, Mom liked that time...1, 2, 3, 4 and it reminds us of of their lineage. The clock keeps on counting, over 30 grandchildren and over 30 great grandchildren. She is listening to her children but takes a peek at you, fascinated to be a part of the conversation.
