Description
One of a series of nest paintings I have done for family. This is for my niece. She lives in London and we are going to visit her after the baby boy is born.
Innately and knowingly, twigs and leaves and grass and straw are gathered and the nest is built. It is carefully placed up and away from danger. It is created with loving care to protect those that will be most dear and vulnerable. A place where miracles occur, a place where the wind and the snow and the rain will come and go but you will be warm. Your protector is never far away and will watch over you for all of your days, even when you fly away.

Perfect ,Richard I well remember the first blue egg picture you painted on FAA. I loved the symbolism then and I totally love the symbolism of the London canvas, now. How fortunate you will be able to go and see them . Have a wonderful trip!!Susan Brown

Thank you VIVA. The first nest painting I did has two blue eggs and one pink. This is what the mother of those children wrote; This work of art was given to me after the birth of my third child...an unexpected little sister to share our nest, alongside her big brothers. The eggs are painted with delicate pink and blue hues, each quietly representing to my three miracle babies. The Nest proudly hangs in our home. To me, it represents the terribly difficult, life-changing, and gloriously rewarding journey my husband and I are so blessed to travel on together. It is a beautiful symbol of all my dreams coming true. Thanks again for your kind words. Now I'm off to London!

Richard, this is so wonderful,in every way....visually, so beautiful; and your inspired, thoughtful symbolism for the future of the new baby-to-be, in jolly ol' England, to which you will travel, lucky you, is so moving, and full of hope.......compliments, kudos, f.v..........I salute you !.......VIVA
