Description
At one time, train stations were major spokes of cities. They were a place to see, and be seen. We can't say that anymore. Yet these beautiful buildings have stories to tell. We fall, we get up. Then we do it again and again. This history has never lost the aura of magnificent. It takes a lot of work but in some places, like Detroit and Buffalo, window by window, piece by piece,,dignity is being rebuilt. The future lies with the people that endure and rise and fall and rise again. In the meantime, life, among other things, goes on.

Thank you Alan. When I paint it is like the brush just takes me places. I start with a general vision and usually end up somewhere else. It isn't like I plan the entire painting,

This is an incredible painting, Richard. The detail is staggering. Then one must think of the ideas, then the individual scenes and I have not gotten to the symbolism and meaning behind it all yet. Your story has an art to it as a warm up. Magnificent and brilliant Richard. Bravo.
